Motor Transport Awards 2024-035

The 2025 Motor Transport Awards are now open for entries.

Every year Motor Transport reviews the Awards categories to make sure they are kept fresh and relevant to the issues facing road transport operators. Most of the awards are for hauliers or own account operators running 11 or more commercial vehicles, though this year we have added a new category for contract hire and leasing providers to reflect the vital role this sector will play in financing the huge transition to zero emissions.

Another new category for 2025 is for network operators of all kinds, including pallet networks, 3PLs and consortia of regional hauliers co-operating to provide a national service.

Finally, we have added a category to recognise the specialist operators who would not consider themselves eligible for the Haulier of the Year award. These could include heavy haulage, container hauliers, car carriers or tanker operators to name just a few.

Entering the MT Awards is free but to be in with the best shot at making the shortlist or collecting a trophy it is vital that entrants read the entry guide and criteria for each of the 20 awards carefully. The awards winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on 3 September.
